rubberised drop net?
Anyone know where I can get a decent drop net, preferably rubberised, not nylon knotted? I have checked all the usual suspects like Le Baron, Bass Pro and West Marine websites, but haven't found anything that fits the bill.

Sounds like you checked out all the usual places. Try calling Al Flahertys, its right around the corner from my house and they have a decent selection of nets.

I keep forgetting about those guys! I'll check out what they have. I need a decent drop net for a couple of locations downtown.

Angling Specialties @ 325 Central Parkway West Unit42 has them for sure, was just there last week, not sure if their other locations have them as well...

Hopefully I can track one down. My old one finally broke, it was a pier fishing drop net from the UK. I'm trying to avoid lugging a long handled net around with me, as the rest of my stuff fits into a backpack.

This Long Weekend, I had the chance to get up to Britt, Ontario. It`s up past Parry Sound - just south of the French River. My Brother In Law`s brother owns a beautiful piece of Property there....
