Fly fishing for Carp Toronto

Does anyone fly fish for carp around here, was at it today tossing flies at about 20-30 carp hooked into one about 20lbs lost it on big run at the start went deep got hooked on a log, anyways what flies do you use and is there a certain method to it?

I'm also very interested in figuring out how to catch them on the fly. From what I've read some people say to go with a big leech or crayfish fly while others go for small bugs. I have yet to try either out though.
