Behold my mighty new vessel!!!

Well, perhaps not “mighty” but at least I will now be able to access all the good spots at my local reservoir.  It’s a 12 foot Old Town canoe that I have finally gotten off my ass and picked up from my parent’s house.  I can just manage to carry it and get it up onto the top of my Jeep but it’s much better with two people.  Luckily my fiancé just got her fresh water permit so I have someone to help… Wink

I’d like to put a little trolling motor on it but in MA you have to get any “motorized” vessel registered even if it’s a canoe or kayak.  We’ll see if I can get motivated enough for that.

Yeah, it’s such a totally different experience.  I really miss the bass boat I had when I lived in TX.
