I bet every Lure Fisherman in the World has at least 1 Mepps in the collection, but if you could only have 1 size out of the 5, which one would it be, would it be the 1 for small ones, 5 for big ones or 3 or 4 for spreading your bets?!

the #3 has caught me more species then any other lures, so #3 for sure! (lm bass, sm bass, perch, walleye, catfish, rock bass, carp, pike, muskie...)

Although, if you are looking to catch quality over quantity, then #5 will bring in the bigger fish!

#3 is a perfect size for sure, and will still attract huge fish! I might actually go with #4 just for the extra casting distance.

My most productive Mepps was (I don't use inline spinners that often anymore) the Mepps "Lightnin" which was an Aglia with a willowleaf blade that had a sparkly yellow sticker in it.  I like the largest size, which was 2, but would have really liked it if they had made a 3 or even 4.  I don't think they make them anymore which is a shame.

I guess I'd have to go with a #3 if I could have only one size.

Now what about style?

Ya, but what if my last bully was lost?? lol

And the Aglia blue/silver is what I've done well on Marble for pike.
