The drop shot is pretty much a goto finesse technique now . The jerkbait industry was turned on its head when we started seeing the performance of lucky craft and megabass which i think have both been purchased out by america. Top water baits like the xpod , anthrax , etc have and are currently replacing the way we work topwater baits ... Xpod is a great bait since you have 6 settings to run your bait with the adjustable jaw. you can pop it on top , walk the dog , run under a foot etc etc ... the bait has slits in the gill area producing a more natural water flow on top water presentations and last but not least the finish on all these baits are absolutely jaw dropping .
