Simple, you register for an account and get notified when new deals are available if you like what you see, buy it! Right now Fish Itch is doing a group buy for a 4-pack of Shark Tooth line keepers/cutters- another perfect example of “why didn’t I think of that?!” The Shark Tooth is kind of like the ZipCut Pro, except for your spools of line and leader material and not your rod and reel.
We’ve covered some great gloves from Glacier Gloves before, and its not surprising they have some awesome new products among their ever expanding line up of gloves, hats, and more! These new gloves are 50+ UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor, very similar to SPF) so they’ll protect you from the elements and radiation! The synthetic leather palm and pads look comfortable and protective. The long finger design protects more of your skin from the sun and is a comfortable style for fly, spin, and float fisherman alike. I haven’t seen these in the stores around me yet, but I’m definitely going to try them on. I’ve been looking for a good pair of UPF paddling gloves for a few months now. via Glacier Outdoor

When I first saw the SOG Fish On fishing knife I wasn’t that impressed. It didn’t really do anything fishing related from what I could see, and then I watched this video, and it still didn’t really do anything fishing related. Just when I was about to close the window they opened the knife and I heard the distinct sound of a drag wheel and I knew I wanted to have one. Seriously though it looks like a nice knife, but at least add a fish descaler or something to the backside of the blade to give it some fisherman functions. Thanks to Mark for sending this one in!

The GoPro Hero HD has pretty much become the de-facto high definition point-of-view (POV) camera. Everyone from car enthusiasts, bike riders, fishermen, skiers, snowboarders, police, military, and even the MythBusters use them now! The Hero HD is a no frills powerhouse of a camera. On the actual camera you won’t find much more than a lens, a few buttons, and an LCD screen. The most versatile part of the GoPro is the waterproof shockproof case which can be mounted to just about anything you can think of, but this waterproof case has a small underwater problem. Last sunday I purchased the GoPro Hero HD with the helmet mounts ($349 CDN), not that I’m going to use a helmet while I’m fishing, but because it was the only 1080p version (720p, 960p, and standard definition models exist) that I could find in Toronto. These things have apparently been flying off the [...]

Today we’re bringing that opportunity to you! Since our previous interview with pro angler and first lady of fishing Kim Bain-Moore, we’ve been dying to sit down with another pro angler and this time we felt compelled to let our readers have the opportunity to ask a pro angler the questions they’ve always wanted answer to.
