Canada turned 143 years old yesterday! To celebrate, I did what every good Canadian does, I drank beer, ate BBQ and watched fireworks!

What did you do for Canada Day?
It’s a common misconception that Canada Day celebrates the independence of Canada, when it in fact celebrates Canada’s birth. July 1st marks the joining of the British colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada (Ontario and Quebec) into a federation of four provinces in 1867.
Canadians typically celebrate their day off by drinking beer out of specially designed Canada Day cups.
