Jaws of Death
I bet you can’t guess what demonic sea creature this mouth belongs to!

Take a close look at the photo below and tell us what you think in the comments. The story is that Clarence Olberding pulled this rainbow trout from Holmes Lake and noticed something truly bizarre.
“I reached down and grabbed it to take the hook out and that’s when I noticed that the hook was in the upper mouth and there was another jaw protruding out below,” the 57-year-old said.
Though it’s thought to be a genetic deformity the fish has caused such a stir that it’s apparently on it’s way to Harvard for study.
Now here’s my take, I’ve seen a lot of foul hooked fish with weird jaws and mouths but this looks like when you cut the lower jaw on a fish to “bleed it”. You can even see what looks like the vein in the lower jaw, which looks to me like it’s healed over. I’m thinking a fisherman caught this fish, snipped its lower jaw before putting it away and the fish jumped out of his hand back in to the water.
Mark Visser packed up his board called in a few choppers and dropped in on Jaws, the world famous big wave surfing location off the coast of Maui, in the middle of the night no less. The video is absolutely mind blowing to think that a 40-foot wave is right behind him and hes essentially riding blind down this aquatic cliff face. Mark was wearing a buoyancy vest and employed a modified surfboard with LED lighting. Still, even with the two helicopters, that’s some seriously dangerous sh*t- and I approve!
Apparently the lighting technologies were created for by Solus Corporation using NASA submarine lighting technology to ensure the wave and board were lit in the right places at the right time to illuminate the scene, but not blind Mark in the process.

Boomerang Tool is, as the title suggests, a tool that comes back to you after use. These lightweight aluminum pliers feature replaceable carbide blades and 36″ of retractable kevlar cable with a split ring on the end to attach to your boat, belt, wherever. No more dropping your pliers in the bottom of the boat, or the lake for that matter. The retractable cable keeps your pliers always at hand for that next fish. It even comes with a two year ultra warranty in the US and Canada! And the Boomerang Tool comes in everything from the pliers you see below to knives, line snips, golf tools, lens brushes for photographers and more!
At 9 inches long and only 177g (6.25oz) The Boomerang Tool feels very solid in my hands despite their light weight. The aluminum jaws extend back through the handles for maximum strength and grip. The carbide cutting blades are fully replaceable and easily cut fluorocarbon at 80# and PowerPro at 65#. The blades look like they could snip your average 4/0-5/0 bass hooks, but I wouldn’t count on them cutting your much bigger pike and musky sized hooks. Still, if you ruin the blades, they’re totally replaceable.

If you have ever wondered what the name of the mechanical shark from Jaws is, its Bruce (a name later used in Finding Nemo). He was undeniable the star of the movie and apparently Bruce was actually three sharks! Each mechanical Bruce was used for a different purpose. Once moved up and down, when left to right, and the other was used for for underwater shots only.
If you think about it, Bruce was really a technological marvel for the early 1970s. It even took 13 technicians to operate him!
“Bruce was fairly programmed for mishap. In order to use him, a twelve-ton steel platform, to which the mechanical shark was attached by a 100-ft.-long umbilical cable, had to be sunk to the ocean floor. The controls on the platform were operated by 13 technicians wearing scuba equipment.”
