We’ve got a stock pile of prizes to give away before the end of the year and we’re gonna give away some stuff right now!
The Snap Shot Ruler, as seen in the photo below, is a bright vinyl fish measuring device that easily fits in your tackle box or and quickly deploys into a durable 40″ ruler perfect for photos. The Snap Shot Ruler features a clip at the very top making it perfect for vertical hold fish grip or scale. I didn’t have either and it still served it’s purpose quite well.

Leave a comment in this post about what you use to measure your catch or why you deserve a free Snap Shot Ruler! The winner will be chosen next Friday October 18th.

October is going by faster than I could have imagined and the temperature is starting to drop. It’s a good thing this month we’re giving away two free Water Gremlin winter hats!

How do you win such a fantastic hat? All you have to do is register for our forums and post an introduction in the Member Introduction forum and you’ll be automatically entered for this months contest. Oh, and you’ll be entered for the year-end contest as well! Already a member of the forum? Just refer someone to the forum and you’ll be entered right along side your referral!
Winners of last month’s contest should have their prizes in the next few days, with a few extras thrown in (like a copy of Fins & Skins) because it took me so long to mail them out. We also decided that all the commenters in our Caption Contest post will receive at least one of our new pins!

year end
With another September come and gone, and another year notch in my belt, I’m looking forward to a nice cool fall. The blizzards of winter not so much..
It’s been cold and wet here in Toronto so the other day I pulled out my box of winter hats and gloves. This reminded me that I still have some nice Water Gremlin tuques to give away, and I still had to pull winners for September.
Congratulations to Dooch and bettercallsaul! Both of you will receive a free Water Gremlin t-shirt!

So we can all look forward to another contest with two great prizes from Water Gremlin, makers of some of the highest quality fishing weights on the market! There’s one every month until the end of the year if you didn’t know!*
* Want to know how you can get your chance to win a Water Gremlin toque next month? Just join our forums and post in our members introductions forum. Already a member of our forums? Then refer a friend to register and post- and you could both win!

Water Gremlin recently sent me an absolutely outrageous prize package set- the box must have weighed 30 pounds! But when a company is about making the highest quality fishing weights on the market, you better expect a heavy first impression. We’ve got eight more prizes to give away so you better get signed up for our newsletter if you want to be notified of new posts by email.
Water Gremlin is also running their own contest where you can win prizes by putting the Water Gremlin in your photos. So be sure to check that out!

Our prizes include:
- 2 full Water Gremlin weight sets (as seen above)
- 2 Water Gremlin baseball caps
- 2 Water Gremlin winter hats
- 2 Water Gremlin t-shirts
More contest details coming soon! And more photos after the break!

Last week we quietly passed another great milestone here at Fishing Fury- 5,000 comments! To celebrate I thought we’d give away some stuff to our awesome users who helped us reach the 5,000 mark. Tell us in the comments below why you love our blog for your chance to win and we’ll choose two winners at random this weekend. Comment as many times as you like!
New posts will appear below this one until we choose the winners this weekend.

Leave your comments below for your chance to win either a Quantum hat or Frogg Toggs visor! Both prizes have been treated with Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water Repellent, so they’re ready to hit the water the moment you open them!
Our randomly chosen winners are…. Woody and Mike! Sammy was a winner but he said he didn’t need a hat and even after emailing him to say that he won he said we should select another winner, so we did! Congrats to all and thank you for joining in our celebration!
