I had never heard of the Deschutes River before watching this video, but its safe to say its a name I wont soon forget. The Deschutes runs through central Oregon and is a major tributary of the Columbia River meandering its way through stunning scenery. The river is perhaps best known as one of the most productive trout waters in the United States and is a top producer of summer steelhead.
