A few of our lucky readers received free Snap Shot Rulers last year, but Evan is the first person to send us back a photo using it. Evan said this was his first pike of the day taken at Little Lake Barrie on January 5th about 400m out at the bottom of Duckworth.
We’ve got a stock pile of prizes to give away before the end of the year and we’re gonna give away some stuff right now!
The Snap Shot Ruler, as seen in the photo below, is a bright vinyl fish measuring device that easily fits in your tackle box or and quickly deploys into a durable 40″ ruler perfect for photos. The Snap Shot Ruler features a clip at the very top making it perfect for vertical hold fish grip or scale. I didn’t have either and it still served it’s purpose quite well.

The Snap Shot Ruler is another great example of “Why didn’t I think of that?”, take a simple task such as measuring your catch and make it dead simple and documentable. That’s exactly the approach the Snap Shot Ruler seems to have taken, simply put it is a vinyl ruler measuring a total of 40″, with a weight on the bottom to keep the ruler vertical and a plastic clip at the top that easily attaches to jaw clamps, scales- you could even hang it from a nail inside your ice hut.
I will be reviewing the Snap Shot Ruler this summer for bass and musky season, and since the guys actually sent me three- we’ll be giving away two Snap Shot Rulers in upcoming contests! Check out this quick video of it in use.
