It was a very intense weekend at Springwood Cottages for the opening of bass season. It was a very hot and sunny weekend overall, except for some light rain on Sunday afternoon, I think I even gave myself a good case of heat stroke. Nevertheless we fished Saturday to Sunday from almost dawn to dusk and didn’t get home until about 1-2am Monday morning. So while the heat stroke didn’t kill me you can imagine how I felt on my way to work a few hours later.

When I return from my brief coma I will have a full update about my weekend at Springwood Cottages and Kennebec Lake, but just to tease you a bit I will leave you with a few of my favorite scenery shots and a big frog that took a yellow slug-go.
