Egg Timer Time Lapse Video

Every now and then I stumble upon and idea that is so simple and so awesome I can’t believe I didn’t come up with it myself. When this type of situation arises, I find the best thing to do is steal the idea, make it your own, and show off to all of your friends and family. This little camera trick is remarkably easy to achieve. Check it out!

If you are a handyman, you probably have everything you’ll need already. If not, all the parts you need will cost no more then $5-10 (assuming you have a digital camera capable of time-lapse photography). You will need:

A 1/4″ bolt

Super Glue

An egg timer

There is not much to it. I glued a bolt to the top of the egg timer, and a nut to the bottom to attach a tripod. Thats it. Seriously. Here’s another sample video.

There are several other ways to combine an egg timer with your camera, but this was the quickest and cheapest way for me.
