Toronto Indy Car Weekend
Well spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday (10-12 July), in 30+C sunshine, perving over women wearing very little, dringing cold beer ohh and watching the Toronto Indycar races.
I live about 3 minutes walk from where they had shut off the streets for the weekend races so thought it would be rude not to go.
My condo/apartment block is the one blocking the CN Tower to give you an idea of how close I was.

And just cos I can, the view from my apartment/Balcony of a night

Anyhow, I must have took 1000 plus photos over the 3 days, but with there being 3 fences infront of you in most places it didnt make for being very photographer friendly. Anyhow managed to blag it into a few places to get a few good shots and this is some of the better ones.

The sound of these things where awesome, and being so close to them really meant you could feel the things, made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck as they popped and banged changing down. 650bhp, V8 twin turbo motors.

The racing

Around the Paddock/pits etc

Just thought you might be interested to see them.
Anyhow, there are a few other pictures Ive uploaded quickly (lower quality) CLICKY HERE

Re: Toronto Indy Car Weekend
Pictures of girls are still an issue, I filled 3 memory cards with photos, and got some 'lady' shots on the friday but Im struggling to access the card for some reason or another, will keep you posted.
Thanks for the comments, Im new to this photography thing really, only had the camera 6 weeks. Its a Panasonic Lumix FZ18, not a DSLR but top of the range digital ultra zoom (28-503mm zoom lense equivelent)
I got chatting to one of the lads about downhill mountain biking and he let me get close for some shots.

ben if you continue to have problems reading your memory card I can help you recover images off of it. I've successfully recovered images off a corrputed sd card before, its time consuming but not impossible.

Have a look on the Internet, there is a few free Memory Card Recory programs that are free.
Cheers,

This is true, I have used this program before, didn't realize they had version for other operating systems.
