Saratoga Lake, NY--and fall fishing tips?
Just wondering if anyone has been up here before, Lake Saratoga New York. I may get a chance to fish the lake for one or two days, mostly (read: unless the canoe is brought COMPLETELY) from shore. It's supposed to have good LMB/SMB populations, as well as walleye and pike (I haven't gotten any info on how good the fishing is for these species). Fall fishing tips?
Thanks-
Ctom

Havent fished there myself, but a general rule of thumb is to slow your usual presentation.
I always like to check out local tackle shops or even Walmart to see what type of lures they are selling. Typically they will have lures that are know producers for nearby lakes and species. If all else fails, cover water quickly with a mepps black fury!
