Quick question Jonathon, was that picture of you taken with a simple point and click Camera or a fancy one with a Lens?...I wasn't sure if it was the weather that made it look so good or the Lens?!...Cheers, Mark.

Its hard to take a bad picture with turquoise water behind you! If I'm not mistaken that picture was taken on a Canon Elph point and shoot. We do a little bit of photo editing to bring out the true colours.

Canon Elph is what i have, when i go to Oz at the end of the year though, i am taking my Olympus with the big Lens, i just hope i can get it set up and the shot taken without much hassle!...(Auto setting all the way i think!)

For daylight I have a custom setting with the lowest ISO setting (100 I think) at the highest image settings. We do also boost the colours and sharpness before we post them online.

I’m not sure. It’s pretty hard IMHO to beat New England between the groundfish, record striped bass, and even bluefin tune and that’s not even talking about freshwater.

I guess this is about destinations so I’ll have to say Alaska for both fresh and saltwater species (you can even go crabbing and shrimping recreationaly).

    New Zealand - Rainbow Trout
    Chitral - ditto
    Kamchatka - King Salmon
    Florida - Bonefish
    Alaska - Halibut
S Australia - Yellowfin tuna (and then King George whiting when I don't catch a tuna!)
Last but not least and the most probable, my own home country, where the English side of my family comes from: the east Midlands, for brown trout and grayling fly fishing. The fish don't grow big and are not numerous, but it is a beautiful part of the UK and where fly fishing all started.

There is a small chance I will be fishing the Long Island Sound this autumn!

    Mexico -Large Mouth Bass
BOQ -Trophy Walleye best fishery imo
Ireland- Pike (because pints and fishing go together like Mac & cheese)
    NWT- Pike
    B.C. Sturgeon and Pink Salmon
    New Brunswick for Musky

Puerto Rico, US and BVI- Tarpon for sure!

Most of my destinations are close and attainable. Call this a "bucket list"
