You might want to introduce yourself before you jump into the questions :dirol: :sarcastic:

Re: Toronto Islands 2010
As requested......
hi everyone. I fish as much as I can but that may cover only about 60 hours a year. Last year was double that from spending most of that time on the Trent between Lock 6 - Frankford &
Lock 7 - Glen Ross. My buddy & I found a fantastic spot where we caught 7 fish in an hr. & a half. Too many hits and follow-ups but made for an exciting morning.
No kids that I'm aware of, single atm & not interested in guys (sorry Jonathon). :dirol:
I'm a chef with Carpal Tunnel from too many hours on the keyboard in my off time. That's why my previous post was to the point-- I signed up on this forum to discuss fishing.
Have a great day everyone & lots of luck with your fishing this year.

Re: Toronto Islands 2010
welcome to Fishing Fury, Fishordie2010!
From what I've heard, there's not much bites going on right now. A friend of mine recently went to 4 different spots around TO but only caught a tiny bass and nothing else.
My own experience with the Islands is that pretty much all the bottoms are filled with dead weeds and the newer ones hasn't found its way up yet (but this also makes it really easy to cast big baits cause there's virtually no hangups).
But it'll still be nice to walk around in the warm weather. Too bad the weather this weekend is awful.
It seems that it'll be rainy and cloudy until Wednesday, so maybe I'll head out later this week.
mmMMmmm... bet that fish tastes good!

Re: Toronto Islands 2010
I think I'll be waiting until the season reopens to head out.
A guy I work with here used to live in Dryden, and ever since he moved here, hasn't fished at all. He's seen my pics on FB, and wants to get out...not like I've had much success at the islands, but it's still better than a day at work!

Wow I haven't thought about Scarborough Bluffs since I took my wife there on our honeymoon. That was 30 years ago. She's from Campbellton New Brunswick and I had to show her my teenage stomping...
Scar. Bluffs this time of year?
