New England Saltwater Fishing Show
The New England Saltwater Fishing Show is being held March 19-21 in Providence RI. I will be working the NOAA booth on Sunday. We’ll be giving out information and providing internet access to register for the Federal Saltwater Registry (and probably taking a lot of grief from disgruntled anglers).
It’s not the biggest show but there will be a good amount of vendors and manufacturer reps. I’ll take some pictures and post up a report after the show.

Good stuff! feel free to email us some pics and we'll try an post them!
Looks like between you me and Jon we'll be covering 3 shows this weekend!
We have an Outdoor show here in Halifax on the same dates. I'll be checking it out, but I dont expect there to be much in the way of fishing.

Re: New England Saltwater Fishing Show
So, unfortunately I was unable to get good pictures of the saltwater fishing show. My camera was in Jamaica with my fiancé and we were swamped with people signing up for the saltwater registry. The good news (for me) is that I did find time to drop a pile of cash on fishing tackle. There were some CRAZY deals. Packs of Trigger X for $2 for example.
Anyway, with a lack of pics from the show I thought I’d at least put up a picture of what I got.
This is the soft plastics. Mostly Trigger X with some SLUGOs and other misc baits.

These are the hard baits. I’m really excited about the handmade hardwood plugs. We normally use them for striped bass but I think I might try them on the tiger muskies that supposedly roam the lake where a bunch of my buddies and I are camping this spring.

Nice haul, I bet those will work well for muskies!

Re: New England Saltwater Fishing Show
wow... $2 for a pack of trigger X! I've seen them here at my local canadian tire store, but they're so expensive! they're normally for like $10 for a pack of 8 bass worms or something >_>
Speaking of expensive worms, senkos are notoriously expensive... I wanted a pack of white worms for the spring, but a pack of 5" ones (10 worms) are $10 at Canadian tire and $8 at my local bait store... damn everything's expensive...
The amount of money we'll spend to get 'free' food ^.^;mmMMmmm... bet that fish tastes good!

Senkos are great but they wont last many fish, you're gonna get more bang for your buck with a gulp sinking minnow. The trigger-x stuff isnt as durable as the gulp stuff, but just as effective I really like them both. The single packaging of trigger-x is really nice IMO.
Yes, Ed F took my avatar photo.
