View Full Version : Musky this weekend
I'm looking for a fishing partner this weekend to join me for the musky opener. Personally I'd head to Scugog, but anywhere would be awesome. I do not have a car, so hopefully you do! I also don't have a boat, but I know where we can easily rent one.
Anyone up for it?

I wish I could brother!
I could do Musky on Saturday. No boat either but would be fine with renting one.

No car, no boat, no money, no fishie...sorry!!
Yep, got a car. We just need to rent a boat. I'll PM you my phone number after work and we can work out the details if you're still in.
I know where we can rent a boat on Scugog its like 70 bucks for the day I think, I'll gladly split that and any gas expenses for your car.
Also, I typically like to leave the night before and sleep in the car just because Im not much of a morning person and thats the best way to force me to get up and in the boat at 7am! What do you think? We'd leave late friday night?
I better get to BPS to buy some more baits..

Might hit the Island on Sat... Around 9is to late noon...
Westshore Marina, where I've rented from before is $80 for the whole day (7AM-7PM) but apparently all their boats are rented tomorrow. There are two other marinas in the area, however their rentals are $15 per hour. So a 12 hour day would cost $130 (a whole $50 bucks more!)
Ed let me know what you think. I've got one of two choices. Go musky fishing this weekend since I'm not on call for work and not have lunch all next week or stay home and keep what little money I've got.
Fuck I'm pissed.. :angry2:

Looks like you'll be eating Ramen noodles this week!
It will all be worth it if I land a couple nice musky.
Well given I just spent 125 on musky baits etc. I would be willing to choke down the extra money. Also, we can just fish like 8-2 and it would work out to 90 or so. I'm flexible but I do really want to fish tomorrow...

You've gotta go Fishing, you can eat anytime, but how often have you got time off work to go after Muskies?!
