    Hi everybody!

    Great to be here!
I'm Ukraine born angler. New to Toronto, new to Canada, but not new to fishing!
I love fishing pike & bass.

I have two kids. My son (9 years old) is crazy about fishing and camping.
I've not bought fishing gear yet, need to go and buy almost everything.
Hope during this summer or fall will manage to go out somewhere.

Look forward to meeting you on the shores of lakes and rivers.

    Hey Roman...

Welcome to you & your family to Toronto!

    Lots of Good Fishing Locally.
My Brothers Wife - "Natasha" is from Donetsk. They have been in Calgary for 20 yrs and just moved to Vancouver.

1> Toronto Islands & Harbourfront (Pike, Carp .. Bass, Perch)
    2. The Rivers (Duffins, Rouge, Don, Humber, Credit) have the Spring Trout Spawn now, the SUCKERS are also in.
3> Coulple more weeks Pike Season opens, Bass in June.

I would really suggest Learning & Targeting the Carp Fishery here.
    There are lots of opportunities.

Anyway ... Welcome and Ask away.

    * Next night it rains, get outside with the kids and pick some worms.
Best all round BAIT to USE around here.
    Never fails

By the way, for camping - The whole South, Central ONTARIO area has just awesome Provincial Parks to Camp at (Fish etc.)

If you plan on really going a lot, inquire about their Yearly/Season Passes.

I grew up in Guelph, Ontario ... and the "Grand River Conservation Area" has like dozens of beautiful parks.

    Thank you guys for welcoming!
I knew about outstanding fishing opportunities in Canada even before I landed here.
Actually, that was one of the reasons for coming to Canada .
