Tommy Thompson Park / Leslie Spit : Feb 07-08
I will be out fishing for pike this weekend provided I pick up a license in time! If anyone is interested let me know, or maybe I'll see you out there!

You should be able to renew your old license online and print up the temp paper work if you have a printer.

Mine card was over three years old. So I needed to get a new one anyway. Also, perhaps due to some fault of my own I never received anything in the mail from the MNR. I think I was supposed to get the stickers for the back of my outdoors card, but instead I'm always carrying around the print out.
Of course the MNR guys always come say hi when I'm on the water. Probably because I look like a pirate..

Went out with a few friends, it was a beautiful day. Most of the inner bays were still well frozen over despite the beautiful +7 temperatures. No fish and no follows unfortunately. I'll probably be back at it again next weekend, Bill perhaps we should do something if you're not busy I have a long weekend (monday is family day).

Being Valentine's weekend, Tania won't be too happy if I go fishing. I'm already doing an ice fishing tourney in Innisfil on Saturday morning & she wasn't thrilled, but because it's a charity thing, it's ok.
Having said that, I'll keep you posted if anything changes. With the way things have been going lately, I might not have anything left to celebrate.... :fool:
If that's the case, I'll definitely be looking to get out for some toothy critters.

Looks like I'll only be able to fish the hard water tourney in Innisfil on Saturday morning. Tania's got me booked from Sat. pm to Mon. pm.... :good:
