Double Spoons, would they work?...And if not, why?!!!

Right then, i was just wondering yet again!...Those Lures that Clive makes...Why hasn't there been a Lure that has 2 Blades on instead of just the 1?...Surely if the stem was long enough it could hold 2 and would be even more of a "Lure" to the fish?!...Just shoot me down in flames if the question is completely stupid as over here we don't use Lures much and i was just thinking, that's all...P.s, could these Lures also be used for Sea Fishing or do you have to use those "Muppet" things that have tentacles like a little Squid?!...Cheers, Mark

I've made a few with two spinners Woody. The key is to have a small spinner up front, otherwise the disturbance causes the back blade not to spin. I've made all sorts of strange combos, but the basic style has produce the most fish fore me - so I figure, why fix it if it ain't broke?

So could you use your Spinners for Sea Fishing or are they really for freshwater use? (Mind you, your Sea Fish would be different to mine anyway i'd have thought!)

    Works great for non-inline spinnerbaits!

Inlines are the style I sent your Mark, the blade and lures parts follow a single straight wire. Although some refer to inlines as a specific blade type.

Here are some other examples of "spinner baits"

heres one of my early prototypes with 2 blades

This is all too much info in one go Those Bass Spinners are nice, do they get used on other species as well or are they made basically just for the Bass?...My other question that hasn't been touched yet is, could you use any of these Spoon type Lures for Sea fishing or would i be just wasting my time trying them?...Thanks for all the replies, at least someone hasn't got ear ache yet from all my never ending questions
