How-To: Post Locations with Google Maps

Hey guys, I've added a custom bbcode for google maps. If you want to post the map of a location just put the location inside of the map bbcode like so.

[map]Toronto, Ontario[/map]

Want to give someone directions? Try this.

[map]Toronto, Ontario to Chicago, Illinois[/map]

Here are some examples of some more advanced features of the maps bbcode

Show maps using GPS coordinates*: [map]+38° 34' 24.00", -109° 32' 57.00"[/map]

Show locations of interest: [map]Coffee near Queen and Spadina, Toronto, Ontario[/map]

Show famous locations: [map]Eiffel Tower[/map]

* Unfortunately the latitude and longitude short cut doesn't work [map]lat:37.062500, lon:-95.677071[/map]
